「このプロジェクトを行うに当たり、特定のアイコン的なモチーフに絞る事を自分に対して決めたのだ。それは宗教的な儀式やチンピラ、踊りや田舎者、ハロウィンや野蛮人、サタン性やパントマイム、乗馬イベントである。写真源のほとんどが仮装をして歌い踊る人々であり、作品は音楽映像のようだ。事実、私はDay Is Doneを短い音楽映像だと捉えている。この作品を見るという経験は、テレビのチャンネルをまわしている感覚に似ているかもしれない。」
