This book is part and parcel of the exhibition project ‘Nos hicimos la ilusión de avanzar directamente’ (We made it our dream to move on) shown at the Espai Cultural de Caja Madrid in Barcelona between November 23, 2011 and January 15, 2012. The title, a sentence culled from Monturiol’s treatise, refers in this new context to the collective insistence on progress in cognitive, cultural and/or technical terms.
With contributions by Ruth Estévez, Sarah Demeuse, Javier Toscano, Erick Beltrán, Eduardo Gil, Irene Kopelman, Erick Meyenberg, Batia Suter, and others.
